**Video of the shooting has been provided below. As always use caution before viewing!** Something quick I wanted to pass along:
Trump got into @ least 2 public fights today and I'm supportive of anybody who's not afraid to give it to him! Here's a recap of his childish behavior today: Trump Vs. Senator Corker
To which Senator Corker replied with the following tweet that tickled me pink!
Our next feud is Trump vs. Senator Flake
Brief thoughts: Here's the only thing that I really have to say about the above men. When you go in that voting booth and you think you're vote doesn't really matter, please believe that it does and you better be careful and think carefully about who you support! Trump showed both of these men as well as the millions of people that voted for him what he's really all about, yet they didn't believe us and thought we were all crazy, so sad to say this is what the both of them get by not believing that Trump is insane after he clearly displayed that he is many many many times! Also, I'm torn between the above feeling and supporting them for being so vocal against this nightmare. Again, you voted for this idiot, and now the rest of us who believed that he's insane from the beginning are stuck with him until we get him up outta there! BONUS
...sighs...Yes, we're going to talk about TrumpCare again and yes just like you, I really don't want to! I wish Republicans would just let TrumpCare die and work on fixing the problems with Obamacare, but that's just asking for too much.
So, here's what you need to know about the latest version of TrumpCare:
President Obama's Reaction
Brief thought: Bottom line, the bill is terrible, it's mean, it's cruel, and please remember, it's not about helping the American people, it's all about trying to "win" and accomplish something finally after 9 months of Trump being in the White House. I included Jimmy Kimmel's monologue where he called out Bill Cassidy, who if you remember stated he wouldn't vote for the previous version of TrumpCare because it didn't pass the Jimmy Kimmel test. Cassidy has since come out and said that Kimmel should've called him instead of "ranting." No, Jimmy Kimmel absolutely did the right thing. He used his platform and his privilege for good! He brought more attention to the fact that you Bill Cassidy are trying to kill people with this bill and that you did indeed lie to his face about not supporting a bill that does harm to the American people. I hope to God that this bill fails just like the rest of them because I am so sick and tired of hearing about TrumpCare and I'm sick of these lawmakers ignoring the fact that NONE OF THEIR CONSTITUENTS WANT THIS BILL. Nobody wants it, yet these jackasses are still trying to shove this bill down our throats. Just like President Obama, I'm aggravated! UPDATE #6

ORIGINAL POST **Video of the incident has been provided below** And people sit around wondering why we view the police in such a negative light! In bodycam footage from July 26th of this year, Salt Lake City detective Jeff Payne can be seen and heard demanding nurse Alex Wubbels draw blood from an unconscious and badly burned truck driver who had been injured in a car accident to see if he was under the influence of any substances. Wubbels can be seen calmly explaining to Payne that due to hospital protocol she CAN NOT draw the patient's blood unless Payne presented an electronic warrant, gained patient consent, or declared an intent to arrest the patient. Payne can then be seen telling the nurse that she was under arrest and damn near dragging her out of the hospital while she screamed for help and that she had done nothing wrong. Other officers can be seen in the vicinity of the altercation, but none of them intervene to deescalate the situation. Wubbel was taken to the police station, but was later removed without being charged with a crime. Salt Lake City announced on Friday, that the Unified Police Department is also conducting an independent investigation into whether a criminal act was performed. Police spokeswoman, Christina Judd, has also confirmed that Payne has been removed from blood draw duties and has been put on paid administrative leave pending criminal investigation. Brief thought: You can do absolutely everything right and SOME police officers will still think they have the right to do anything to you just to get their way and the fact that none of the officers that were surrounding them did nothing, isn't surprising to me. They protect each other regardless of if one's actions are right or wrong. I commend her for standing her ground and following protocol to protect the right's of her patient. Jeff Payne needs to be fired and there's no way around that and I absolutely think that she should sue, she's entitled to every penny that may be awarded to her because that whole incident was unnecessary! ...sighs...What's done in the dark will ALWAYS come to light, yet people still don't believe that for some reason!
By now, I'm sure many of you have either seen the video or heard the recording of Cobb County Lt. Greg Abbott attempting to "deescalate" a white motorist, but for those that haven't, prepare yourself. In the dashcam video from back in July 2016, Abbott can be heard trying to convince a white motorist to get out of her vehicle, so he can impound it. Abbott then tells the woman to reach for her phone in her lap, the woman replies, "I just don't want to put my hands down. I've just seen way too many videos of cops...(the audio is garbled)" Abbott in an attempt to calm her nerves says this bullshit, "But you're not black. Remember? We only kill black people. Yeah. We only kill black people right? All the videos you've seen, have you seen white people get killed?" Well, ladies and gentlemen, this jackass of an idiot, who was placed on the usual administrative duties while the department investigated the video, has been fired! A veteran of the force for 27 years and all it took was a couple of seconds to ruin that career, words have power! Here's what Cobb County Chief Mike Register had to say regarding his decision to fire Abbott, "There's really no place for these types of comments in law enforcement. I feel that no matter what context you try to take those comments in, the statements were inexcusable and inappropriate. They're not indicative of the values that I'm trying to instill within the Cobb County police department and that I believe the country holds. My staff's worked hard. Men and women who wear the Cobb County uniform have worked hard. And, I think that we have done some great things here in the last few months. It's sad to think that several seconds of video has the potential of tearing that apart, and I hope that is not the case. This badge and this uniform should mean that there's justice and fairness for all." Register also stated that he learned about what Abbot said after a local TV station obtained the video and brought it to his attention. He also made it clear that he and the department will rework its policies for reviewing videos to better catch problems. Brief thoughts: I LOVE when karma is swift! Here this officer is thinking that he got away with the disgusting and damaging words that came spewing out of his mouth a year prior, ohhhhhh, but karma always finds her way around and you've now lost your career that's spanned for 2 decades. Was it worth it? Think you should've used different words like, "It's ok. I know you're scared, I'm not going to hurt you." Anything else would've been more helpful than what you said, you idiot! When she said what she said, it would've been a powerful moment if he had said something to denounced the killings of unarmed black people, but nooooo, he had to join the racist bandwagon and now you're getting everything you deserve. Enjoy unemployment you racist asshole. Also, can we have more officers like Police Chief Mike Register please and thank you! The moral of this story: words have power, somebody is always watching, and karma is always going to repay you for the things you do! As I stated below, I really don't wanna do this post and give more attention to these pieces of shit than they deserve, but I also feel like it's important to highlight the state of this country. I think last night I just wasn't emotionally and mentally "available" enough to do this sort of heavy post, but I'm gonna do it because things are getting entirely out of hand and it's something that unfortunately we're not able to ignore. All of this chaos, hatred, fear, etc because of a statue coming down!
Here's what yall need to know about the situation in Charlottesville:
Last Night 8/11/2017
ORIGINAL THOUGHTS In case you haven't heard, there's a Klan rally without the robes and hoods going on in Charlottesville, VA tonight into tomorrow (Saturday). Currently, debating on if I'm going to give this gathering any additional attention. Check back for possible updates. P.S.--Yes, the above picture is of the rally that's taking place tonight. The driver of a car that plowed into a crowd of demonstrators after a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia Saturday has been arrested, as city officials report that one person has died and 19 are injured following the incident. Video taken in the afternoon after the demonstration was shut down shows crowds walking down a downtown Charlottesville street as several cars move slowly along the same avenue. Abruptly, a gray Dodge Challenger rams into the back of another vehicle, slamming one or more cars ahead of it amid the crowd of protesters. The driver then rapidly reverses away from the scene. Charlottesville Mayor Mike Signer tweeted Saturday afternoon that "a life has been lost," a fact that was later confirmed by the University of Virginia Health System, which reported that 20 patients were brought to UVA Medical Center and that 19 were being "assessed and treated." ORIGINAL POST I've been telling yall all along that this man is going to get us all killed by continuously poking the sleeping bear that is North Korea. Things are escalating, so I felt a North Korea post was necessary, so here's what yall need to know:
**sighs**
**Video of the incident has been provided above** Last Monday, the DeKalb County police department has reopened an internal investigation after video of an officer beating a homeless woman has been brought to light. "Now that the Department has this new evidence we have reopened the investigation and will determine whether the incident is consistent with policy and the law."--DeKalb County Police Department statement The incident took place @ a gas station in Decatur on June 4th after an officer, who hasn't been publicly identified, responded to a call about a woman begging for money from customers. The woman has been identified as Katie McCrary and from the video it's not clear as to what led to the situation, however according to a Use of Force report filed by the unidentified officer, McCrary attempted to push him out the way and make her way out the store. After the officer prevented her from leaving, she tried to walk past him again, and told him she was a federal agent. **Clearly, that's a sign of mental illness** The 2 exchanged words, McCrary attempted to grab his badge, the officer told her to not touch him, McCrary then grabbed his vest and his radio, and then the officer used his baton on her legs, forearms, as well as on the side of her head because she was "moving around." **Of course none of this can be seen on the video!** On the video, an unknown male in the store can be heard yelling, "Hey, Katie, Stop resisting!" "Stop resisiting."
Also according to the Use of Force report that he filed, he took McCrary to DeKalb County Jail, but she was refused and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for further evaluation. As a result of the beating, she suffered a half inch cut on her shin and welt on her forearm. McCrary was ultimately charged with obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers and was also given a criminal trespass warning @ the request of the convenience store manager. Brief thought: Clearly, Katie McCrary suffers from some sort of mental illness and wasn't in her right frame of mind. So, knowing this, I don't understand why it had to get to the level that it got to. I don't understand why she's being beaten, instead of restraining her by tasing her, so he could handcuff her and then take her to get some mental help. I just do not understand! I don't understand how holding a baton to the back of her neck and holding her down with your knee is effective @ deescalating the situation, if anything, human nature, fight or flight kicks in, and a person's instincts tells them to protect themselves! Duh! That's psychology 101 right there! I hope he's charged with excessive force because this was just taking is beyond too far and I hope he loses his job because that's what he deserves. This is prime example of why body cameras should be required on all police officers no matter if you're working in a big city or a small town and it should be a crime for these officers to tamper with their body cameras or have them turned off. Had a body camera been on this officer, wouldn't have taken a month for this footage to be released or discovered. Once again, in news that shouldn't shock anybody, no charges will filed against the officer that murdered John Crawford III (22). **Per usual, video of the shooting has been provided below** On August 5, 2014, Officer Sean Williams responded to a call from Ronald Ritchie regarding somebody waving a rifle inside a WalMart in Beavercreek, Ohio. According to police, per the usual story, John didn't follow the commands to drop the weapon, and then Williams shot him. In the investigation following the shooting, it was determined that John was holding an air rifle (BB gun) and he was carrying from a store shelf. Federal authorities announced Tuesday that would've be pursing the case any further due to lack of evidence, despite analyzing surveillance cameras in the store, interviewed witnesses, and used an independent crime scene reconstruction expert. A special grand jury also declined to indict anyone and per usual the Department of Justice said it'll look into possible civil rights violations...rolls eyes... "The government would be required both to disprove his (Williams) stated reason for the shooting...that he was in fear of death or serious bodily injury (rolls eyes once again)...and to affirmatively establish that Officer Williams instead acted with the specific intent to violate Mr. Crawford's rights."--statement from US Attorney Benjamin Glassman and the Department of Justice "The family is very upset. They're still grieving. And now it appears there's no recourse and that nothing will be done through the criminal justice system. It's almost like these guys are getting away with murder."-Crawford family attorney Michael Wright Brief thought: It's not like they're almost getting away with it. They ARE getting away with it like they ALWAYS do. We all know how the process goes. Officer shoots black man, officer uses the tired ass line of 'I feared for my life,' half assed investigation is done, officer either doesn't face any charges or he's acquitted, Justice Department pretends they're going to look into the victim's civil rights being violated, settlement is offered, end scene. Per usual, I'm confused as to how you can just pop up on the scene and instead of trying to assess the situation, you just immediately jump to shooting up a person?? From the information I've gathered, if he was carrying the BB gun from a store shelf, that leads me and others to believe that he was going to purchase it. In the video, he's seen just standing there, presumably doing what we all do when we go to the store, you pick something up, but you stand there, and ponder your different options. Sooo, how was your life in danger again? Also, if he was allegedly waving the "gun" around and pointing it @ people, yet ON THE VIDEO AGAIN, HE'S SEEN JUST STANDING THERE. Fun fact: Ronald Ritchie, the POS who called the police on John for no reason, later admitted that he lied about John waving the gun around. And of course, this asshole isn't going to face charges for providing false information in a 911 call that lead up to this man's death. That is the American way after all. Why should we hold people accountable for their actions?? Bottom line: My fellow black folks, it's not safe to legally own and carry a gun, could get you killed (Philando Castile), it's not safe to just be holding a BB gun, could get you killed in less than a minute (Tamir Rice), and it's not safe to go into a store to purchase a BB gun (John Crawford III). |
