I'm not sure why people are surprised by this??
Tuesday night @ the Summit on Religious Liberty in California, Jeff Session entertained members of the Alliance Defending Freedom @ an event that was conveniently closed off to reporters. Also, conveniently enough, the Department of Justice refuses to reveal what Sessions had to say. According to a spokesperson for the group, they're "working through channels" to reveal what Sessions said to the group. Fun fact: The Southern Poverty Law Center deemed the Alliance Defending Freedom an "anti-LGBT hate group" in 2016. The Alliance Defending Freedom group was founded in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1994, and according to the Southern Poverty Law Center the group "specializes in supporting the recriminalization of homosexuality abroad, ending same-sex marriage and generally making life as difficult as possible for LGBT communities in the US and internationally." The reactions of these 2 people are the only things that need to be said about this meeting. "How can we trust the nation's top law enforcement officer will protect all Americans when he's willing to meet behind closed doors with a group that supports criminalizing homosexuality and marginalizing LGBT people around the world? If Attorney General Jeff Sessions doesn't condone such beliefs, he should immediately make his remarks to the group public and be prepared to defend them. The LGBT community...as well as all Americans...needs to know if he is capable of upholding our country's fundamental promise of equal protection under the law."--David Dinielli, deputy legal director for the Southern Poverty Law Center's LGBT Rights Project "You can judge a person by the company they keep, and tonight Attorney General Jeff Sessions is choosing to spend his time speaking in front of one of the country's leading anti LGBTQ hate groups. The Alliance Defending Freedom actively helped draft discriminatory legislation, worked to preserve laws criminalizing same sex relations and attacked the separation of church and state. ADF has been previously designated a hate group, and Sessions' appearance at this event, as the top law enforcement official in the country, brings in to question whether the attorney general intends to protect all Americans."--Democratic National Committee spokesman Joel Kasnetz Brief thought: The man is a known and documented racist, are we really supposed to be surprised that he spoke @ a group that is anti LGBTQ? Look @ who his boss is and the man that he continuously defends! NOBODY should be surprised by this. Yes I absolutely want to know what he said, but I already know that when what he said is released, it's going to be doctored and falsified, so sorry to disappoint, we're never really going to know what he said unless some sort of video is released.

This is going to be a quick post, just something I wanted to say about part of an interview Jeff Sessions did.
I know we talked about the interview he did on "This Week" with George Stephanopoulous, but there was something else that I wanted to discuss from it. When George questioned him about why he couldn't call and acknowledge Hawaii as the state it is, this jackass said, "The President--nobody has a sense of humor anymore." **side eye** He said some other bs trying to justify the Muslim Ban, how he's confident that they'll be able to get it to pass, blah blah blah, that's a blatant racist for you! Jeff Sessions, nothing that your boss is doing is a joke to the American people and the people that are watching the shit show happen in America. The disrespect that you continuously display is not a joke. The belittling of the 50th state as just "an island in the Pacific" is not a joke. What you call jokes and lack of sense of humor is actually being rude, disrespectful, idiotic, ignorant, the list of adjectives go on and on. I'm not surprised that this was your response, I'm not surprised that you didn't apologize, I'm not surprised because you are a blatant racist and you have been known to be a disrespectful jackass for years, a disrespectful jackass that's never going to change his ways. And why should he have to if his boss leads the way with this type of behavior? Welcome to Chapter 10 in the Say What Now Chronicles! This 1 is just down right disrespectful! You know what I can't stand? A grown ass man that has to resort to being disrespectful just because he didn't get his way! Let's start with what the eternal racist Jeff Sessions had to say during a radio interview with Mark Levin on Tuesday.
Of course the good people, especially their lawmakers thought what he had to say was some ol bs and here's what Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono had to say, "The suggestion that being from Hawaii somehow disqualifies Judge Watson from performing his Constitutional duty is dangerous, ignorant, and prejudiced. I am frankly dumbfounded that our nation's top lawyer would attack our independent judiciary. But we shouldn't be surprised." STANDS AND CLAPS!! Ma'am you better read him like a book in a library! Senator Brian Schatz, had this to say via Twitter: The judge that's being referred to is US District Judge Derrick Watson, who presides in Honolulu. This is the good judge that ruled against Trump's Muslim Ban, preventing it from going into effect for the 2nd time.
My thoughts: I've always wanted to go to Hawaii and that fact that they can throw shade like this, inspires me to want to go even more! Just like Sen. Hirono said, we shouldn't be surprised that any person in the Trump administration says stupid and disrespectful bs like this! Jeff Sessions is an open and known racists who's racist tendencies were so bad that he was blocked from becoming a judge in Alabama! The audacity of you to belittle this state just because they stood up and did what was right! Hawaii is not just an island in the Pacific Ocean, it's the 50th state in our Union, you jackass. Maybe you didn't pay attention in law school or even Civic class, it is unconstitutional and illegal to block a specific religion from coming into the country and no matter what you or any of the other people on his team says, it was, it still is, and it will forever be a Muslim ban, period! That is against the law and it's a form of hate, which all leads back to you being a racist, see how everything just works out and comes full circle. Lastly, Hawaii may just be a little island in the Pacific Ocean, but that little island took you racist jackasses down, so in the end, who gets the last laugh? |
