Here's what you need to know about Trump's latest attack on Haitians:
Brief thought: It's beyond fair @ this point to make clear that Trump hates black people, especially if they're from Haiti, and he just had to add in these 2 other countries to try and make it less obvious...rolls eyes...

ORIGINAL POST Here's what yall need to know about Jorge Garcia:
Brief thoughts: I find it absolutely positively repulsive that this man was brought here as a child, against his own will, yet he's being kicked out...and for what? Why on God's beautiful green Earth are we tearing apart families in this country just because Donald Trump feels like he's better than black and brown Americans? Now he's being sent back to a country that he knows nothing about, he has to try and recreate a life that he's already put together here, and what does that accomplish? Absolutely nothing! Instead of kicking out these innocent people, we need to be helping them become "legal" Americans, and kick out Trump instead. Here's what you need to know about ICE's latest round up:
Brief thoughts: Nobody should be surprised as to why they targeted 7-Eleven stores. I mean come on, we all go to 7-Eleven and we all know it's mainly immigrants and foreigners working there just trying to do their damn jobs and bring home a paycheck! They're @ their jobs just minding their business and here these people come poking their noses in their business. More importantly, why are we arresting people just on the suspicion of being in the county illegally? And why are we treating these people like they're criminals instead of helping them take the steps to becoming legal American citizens? And the losses for Trump just keep rolling in.
Here's what you need to know about his latest failure:
Brief thought: A loss for Trump is a win for America. Something quick I wanted to pass along:
Brief thought: Once again, this is nothing more than just trying to undo President Obama's legacy. Nothing more, nothing less. It's disgusting, but nothing shocking or surprising. 01/18/2018 UPDATE

ORIGINAL POST Here is what you need to know about Trump's decision on DACA:
REACTIONS
Brief thoughts: I've done and talked about many hard posts on here, but this one really really bothers me. It bothers me because children and young adults who were brought here against their will are being punished and for what? There's no good reason to want to deport these people...period. Why are these DREAMers having to pay the price and consequence for their parents bringing them into this country? These people are going to be sent back to countries they know absolutely nothing about and for what? Let's be very clear here, the only reason why DACA was even an issue for Trump is because it was something positive that President Obama did, point, blank, and the period! And then this hateful, spiteful, evil, vile, sick, twist, useless, piece of shit (I'm not sorry mom) had the audacity to say that he loves the DREAMers and that they're good people, yet he's tossing them out of the country and for what?? THEN, his spineless administration had the audacity to say that the decision wasn't made lightly...BULL FUCKING SHIT! This is 1 of the easiest decisions Trump has ever made! Anything Trump can do to dismantle the good that President Obama did for this country, he'll do, and he's the devil for it and there's a special place in hell for Donald J. Trump. I've been holding off on doing a post about this for 2 reasons:
In the meantime, here's what yall should know about DACA for right now:

ORIGINAL POST I've said this numerous times before and I'll be more than happy to say it again, I AM SICK AND TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT THIS DAMN BORDER WALL! Next week, House Republicans will put a plan in motion to fund and begin construction on Trump's precious border wall. The "wall" which would actually be fencing and a levee wall would span 74 miles from the Rio Grande Valley in Texas and end somewhere near San Diego. Funding for the wall which is expected to cost around $1.6 BILLION dollars will be tied into a spending bill the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, etc. Brief thought: Again, I'm sick of hearing about this wall that isn't going to curb illegal immigration in this country. I've said this before and I'll say it again, if a person is that motivated to come in this country and genuinely better their lives a fence isn't going to stop them! This astronomical amount of money could be put to such good use to improve more important things in this country, but Donald J. Trump is so spiteful, hateful, racist, and fearful that more important things be damned. Also, for all those Trump supporters out there, how does it feel to be lied to once again? Remember during the campaign when your fearful leader said over and over that Mexico was going to be paying for the wall? Yeah, that's not happening...wanna know why? I'll tell you! Because Mexico was NEVER going to pay for the wall and Trump's lazy ass doesn't have a plan on how to "force" them to do so. Soooo, guess who's going to be paying for yalls precious wall?? Need help? I'll just tell you... TAX PAYERS! Yayyyy!! So, you're on the brink of having your healthcare taken away AND you're going to have to pay for something that was a lie from day 1! Congratulations, yall should feel so proud! Wednesday 12/6/2017

ORIGINAL POST This news got swept under the rug thanks to the Muslim Ban and Trump's disgusting behavior, so here's what yall need to know about 2 immigration bills that passed the House yesterday: KATE'S LAW
NO SANCTUARY FOR CRIMINALS ACT
Both bills are now on their way to the Senate where they face an uphill battle to be passed and become law. Kate's Law was introduced to the Senate last year, but did not get the 60 votes it needed to make it to the President Obama's desk. @ that time, 3 Democrats voted for it: Joe Manchin (WV), Joe Donnelly (IN), and Heidi Heitkamp (SD) However, in order to pass the Senate, 8 Democrat votes would be needed ontop of all of the Republicans voting yes. FUN FACT: There isn't much legitimate evidence showing those who are in the country illegal commit more crime. Brief thought: I can understand wanting to keep those who wish to harm us out of the country, however I don't agree with keeping somebody out who made a mistake and committed a non violent crime, I don't agree with that. Everybody makes mistakes, some bigger and more damaging than others, but everybody has made 1 mistake in their life. So, we're also going to keep non violent offenders out and if they come back we're going to throw them in prison for decades? For what? What does that solve? Also, I'm still struggling to find the problem with cities housing and protecting immigrants that haven't committed crimes, have contributed to this country in positive ways. Again, instead of trying to keep them out, why aren't programs being put in place to help them become citizens? Silly me, I forgot, unless you look like Trump and his family, you're not wanted and welcome here...there was another man who had that same ideal, I believe an entire World War was started because of his actions, hmm...how'd that work out for him? 01/11/2018 Update

ORIGINAL POST Today was the day that a decision would be made regarding the 58,000 Haitians living in America under Temporary Protected Status. The Trump administration has decided to extend the status until January. Senior officials working @ the Department of Homeland Security has "strongly encouraged" those living under the status to "resolve their affairs to include obtaining travel documentation" aka it's highly unlikely that they will be extending this again. "This 6 month extension should allow Haitian TPS recipients living in the United States time to attain travel documents and make other necessary arrangements for their ultimate departure from the United States, and should also provide the Haitian government with the time it needs to prepare for the future repatriation of all current TPS recipients."--John Kelly, Homeland Security Secretary Officials have said that conditions in Haiti have improved "dramatically" enough for them to be able to return to the country. **Ummm...when have conditions in Haiti improved?** Contrary to what the Department of Homeland Security has to say, US Citizenship and Immigration Services say the condition in Haiti is nowhere near acceptable for them to return. Currently, there's a cholera epidemic, an unstable economy, lack of food and housing, inadequate medical care, and reoccurring security threats. Brief thoughts: I believe extending the status is the best thing to do for the thousands of Haitians that are living in this country. I'm honestly surprised because I wholeheartedly expected for this man and his administration to toss these people out of the country. Needless to say I'm shocked! I do think it's bs for these people who have probably never been to Haiti to say that the country has "drastically" improved. Umm, maybe you should go there, take a tour of where you're trying to send these people back to, not the fancy touristy areas, but the areas where these people would be living. Stay there for a couple days, come back, and let us know if you would live there or allow your families to live there. I guarantee it wouldn't be up to your uppity standards and if that's the case, then instead of just sending these people back home to live there, help the country because a country that you sir would want to live in. |
